Metal Scraps

Metal scraps act as raw material for electric arc furnaces in which the scrap is remelted.  

IRON / STEEL SCRAP

  1. Iron Content: ≥95% (by weight)
  2. Carried-waste (such as wood, paper, plastic, rubber, textile, glass, rust, powdery substance etc.) : ≤ 0.5% (by weight)
  3. Radioactive Contamination: Not allowed
  4. Size : can be directly charged into the furnace.
  5. Scrap Grades: #1 HMS, #2 HMS, Busheling, New Black Sheet Clippings , Bundles, Shredded Scrap, Silicon Steel Sheet , Silicon Steel Coil

STAINLESS STEEL SCRAP

  1. Total metal content: ≥ 95% (by weight)
  2. Carried-waste (such as wood, paper, plastic, rubber, textile, glass,  powdery substance etc.) : ≤1.0% (by weight)
  3. Harmful element content:

       Lead (Pb): ≤ 0.1%

       Arsenic (As): ≤ 0.1%

       Mercury (Hg): ≤ 0.0005%

       Cadmium (Cd): ≤ 0.01%

  4. No severe rusting, No coating.
  5. No radioactive substances, explosives, hazardous waste, etc. 
  6. Scrap Grade: Aroma, Burly, Cupro, Stainless Steel 300 Series , Stainless Steel 400 Series,  Irony Stainless Steel 

COPPER SCRAP

  1. Copper Content: ≥ 97% (by weight)
  2. Copper-alloy Content:≥ 95% (by weight)
  3. Carried-waste (such as wood, paper, plastic, rubber, textile, glass,  powdery substance etc.) : ≤ 0.8% (by weight)
  4. Moisture content: below 0.3%
  5. Surface coating: Non-metallic coating is not allowed when importing to China
  6. Radioactive Contamination: external penetrating radiation should not exceed the local background value+0.25μGy/h.
  7. Mixing Regulations: Bulk copper scraps of different categories should be clearly classified and placed separately in independent packaging. It is not allowed to declare different types of recycled copper scraps under the same customs declaration form.
  8. Scrap Grades: Barley, Millberry, Berry, Birch, Candy , Cliff , Clove, Cobra, Cocoa, Dream, Ebony, Honey, Ivory, Label , Lace, Melon, Night, Noble, Nomad, Ocean, Pales

ALUMINIUM SCRAP

  1. Aluminium Content: ≥ 91% (by weight)
  2. Carried-waste(such as wood, paper, plastic, rubber, textile, glass, powdery substance etc. and the mixing of other metals) : ≤ 1.0% (by weight)
  3. Scrap Grades: Tablet, Tabloid, Taint / Tabor , Take , Talc , Talcred(UBC) , Taldack (UBC) , Taldon (UBC) , Taldork (UBC) , Tall, Tally , Talon, Tann, Taste, Tassel , Tarry, Teens, Telic, Tense, Testy, Tesla, Tooth, Troma , Trump , Twist, Tata, Tutu
  4. Special attention should be paid to the excessive magnesium content in 5 series and 7 series aluminum alloys when importing to China.

LEAD SCRAP

  1. Lead Content (by weight): ≥ 95%
  2. Carried-waste (such as wood, paper, plastic, rubber, textile, glass, powdery substance etc. ) : ≤ 1.0% (by weight)
  3. Radioactive: shall not contain radioactive pollutants.
  4. Hazardous Waste: must not be mixed in.
  5. Physical Form: should not contain liquids, sludge, etc.
  6. Harmful Element Content:
       Arsenic (As): ≤ 0.5%
       Mercury (Hg): ≤ 0.0005%
       Cadmium (Cd): ≤ 0.05%
  7. Scrap Grade: Racks, Radio,

ZINC SCRAP

  1. Zinc content (by weight): ≥ 90%
  2. Carried-waste(such as wood, paper, plastic, rubber, textile, glass, powdery substance etc. ) : ≤ 1.0% (by weight)
  3. Limit on harmful element content:
        Lead (Pb): ≤ 1.0%
        Iron (Fe): ≤ 0.2%
        Chlorine (Cl): ≤ 1.0%
        Cadmium (Cd): ≤ 0.05%
  4. Scrap Grade: Saves, Scabs, Scoot, Scope, Score,
