Application:
1. It can be used as a solvent for wax, gum, resin, tar, rubber, oil, and asphalt. The solvent ortho dichlorobenzene is used in the production of dyes such as Shilin Black and Shilin Yellow Brown, high-end pigments, pharmaceuticals such as Chlorhexidine, and polyurethane raw material TDI. This product can be used as an insecticide for termites, locusts, and piercing insects. It can also be used in the production of triclosulfate, sulfamethoxazole, and Xinyanling, as well as in the synthesis of catechol, fluorochloroaniline, 3,4-dichloroaniline, and o-phenylenediamine. As a rust inhibitor and degreaser, it can remove carbon and lead from engine parts, remove coatings on metal surfaces without corroding metals, and remove sulfur from lighting gases.
2. It can be used as an ingredient for metal polishing agents, and in the dye industry, it is also used to manufacture reduced blue CLB and reduced blue CLG. Polymer wet spinning solvent reduces fiber thermal shrinkage rate; Epoxy resin diluent, coolant, heat exchange medium; Pharmaceutical long-acting sulfonamides, etc.
3. Strong solubility, good permeability, slow evaporation rate, therefore used as an additive for nitro spray paint, varnish, and solvent for wax and tar. It is also used as a degreaser in the metal, leather, automotive, and aircraft industries. Mix with a small amount of higher alcohols as a rust inhibitor. Other intermediates and organic heat carriers used in the manufacturing of refrigerants, fumigants, preservatives, dyes, pharmaceuticals, etc.
4. Used for organic synthesis, dye manufacturing, cleaning agents, and solvents. Also used for the preparation of insecticides, cleaning agents, and solvents.
5. Widely used as a solvent and preservative for organic compounds and non-ferrous metal oxides.
