Application:
1. Mainly used for the production of stearic acid salts: sodium stearate, magnesium stearate, calcium stearate, lead stearate, aluminum stearate, cadmium stearate, iron stearate, potassium stearate.
2. Widely used in the production of cosmetics, cold resistant plasticizers for plastics, release agents, stabilizers, surfactants, rubber vulcanization accelerators, waterproofing agents, polishing agents, metal soaps, metal mineral flotation agents, softeners, pharmaceuticals, and other organic chemicals.
3. In addition, it can also be used as a solvent for oil soluble pigments, a lubricant for crayons, a polishing agent for wax paper, and an emulsifier for stearic acid glycerides.
4. This product is used as a lubricant, defoamer, and food additive in the food industry as a raw material for stearic acid glycerides, sorbitan esters of stearic acid, sucrose esters, etc. Used as raw materials for additives and daily chemical products.
5. stearic acid is widely used in the manufacturing of PVC plastic pipes, sheets, profiles, and films. It is a PVC heat stabilizer with good lubricity and good light and heat stability. In plastic PVC pipes, stearic acid helps prevent “coking” during processing. Adding it to PVC film processing is an effective heat stabilizer and can also defend against discoloration of the finished film caused by exposure to sulfides.
